Slow day in Odessa

Dad and Yuri mugging for the camera on the ride back to the Internot.
Today, felt like literally nothing happened. A couple trips to the market. Laundry. Renee worked. Checked email. We continue to bond with Yuri and I guess that is the most important thing at this time. Tomorrow, we fly to Kiev to update our fingerprints at the US Embassy then, return home same day. By the way, if you don't hear from us either by blog or email, we have been having trouble with the internet connection. So, don't worry, we will eventually get back to you.
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.

We'll be thinking of you as you fly the friendly skies tomorrow to Kiev. In some ways it's a bummer that you had to redo your fingerprints, but maybe God knew you might need a little extra work as a diversion to your long days of wait for the court date. Anyway it's a filler for one of your days, then the weekend and then COURT DATE!!! YEA!!! Isn't that so exciting? It's almost here. I'm picturing you in thecourt building. I forgot to tell you that day that you sent pictures of the big open air market with the meat selling going on. One day when we were at the court building, several people had set up a portable meat market right in the lobby where you walk in. It was pretty weird. Like, sue your neighbor and get some sausage to go while you're at it. I'm still praying that they might wave your 10 day wait, but as we've seen God at work so far in this waiting period, maybe He's not quite through with you over there. So great that you got the unplanned meeting with Yuri's brother and girlfriend. Maybe God has some other people for you to run into yet. Anyway, we love you and will continue to pray for you and for your family here.
